What would cause someone’s wrist watch to lose time with every watch that they buy? Someone said that it has to be with your metabolsim (sp)? Every watch that my friend wears they all start to lose the correct time.

I have heard this through the years too. I’m seventy by the way. They don’t wear a watch due to the watch losing or gaining time.
I have never heard of a study being done on this though.

Impossible. Either your friend is not setting the time properly, or there is something wrong with the watch – are they cheap watches?
Or – is your friend using this as an excuse for being constantly late – like – oh, my watch was slow, it wasn’t my fault….
