I wanted something around 40 bucks or 50 if possible (this will be an extra gift so I need to be within a budged). Mainly he needs to calculate the timing left of the parking meter. He already got a parking ticket. Any ideas of a cool looking and not so bulky wrist watch? Websites tips will be ideal since I do most of my shopping online.
Thanks

If you’re looking for a decent watch in the 40-50 dollar range, you should go with casio, marine ani-digi. I like these because they are slim fitting which is important as the wet suit sleeve has to go over the watch. They last a long time and best of all they have a rotating bezzel, which your husband can sync with the parking meter to avoid tickets. Check out streaming surf footage at http://bit.ly/73VqQF

Are you anywhere near a Costco? Just go and get one of their digital watches, my friend has had one for years. If you want a “surfer’s” watch then there’s the G Shock G-Lide which you can set up to portray the tides and everything. I think you can get for 60 bucks on amazon on the right day but G Shocks change prices all the time on amazon. If you’re literally just getting it for him to wear in the water than yea, just buy some cheap waterproof watch, that’s what I wear in the water.

I have been wearing a $200+ Freestyle watch for a couple of years now, and it has really been worth the money. But if you are looking cheap I would suggest a casio Forrester. I had to send my watch out for a new battery and repressurizing, so instead of going two weeks with no watch, I bought a $20.00 Casio Forrester at Walmart. I surfed with it dozens of times, and it was perfect.
