I asked this a while ago after a discussion at work and am interested to see if the results this time are similar.
A: I am right handed and haven’t worn my wrist watch for years (I am not even sure if I still have it – It may have got lost when moving about 5years ago, I am not sure at all) I used to always wear it on my left, simply ‘cos that is what my Mum my Nan my Aunt and all the ladies and girls I knew did. My brother though was right handed as was Grandad and Uncle and they still wore theirs on the right hand side so I don’t think it was to do so much with whether you were right or left handed just traditional or something like that
A: Uh? I’m pretty sure whether you’re right- or left-handed has more to do with how you wear your watch than gender.
I’m female, right-handed, wear my watch on the left
A: Male.
Left worn
Left handed ~ though, due to Polio I am omni-dexterous. Additionally, it would be pointless for me to wear as watch on my right wrist.
Sorry if this skews your data, but there you go, there’s always ‘one.’
Sash
A: I wear it on my left hand, I wear the face in while at work to stop the face being marked and on the outside when not working ( thats me not working an` not the watch lol) and I am male of course
A: Left, and I don’t think it’s anything to do with gender. If you’re right handed, you wear it on your left, and if you’re left handed, you wear your watch on your right.
It’s so that you can use your dominant hand to do up the clasp or buckle of the watch, so if you wear it on your left wrist, you can use your right hand to fasten the watch.
A: i wear my wrist watch on my left hand and i am a boy of 14
it doesnt matter if you wear you watch on your right or left hand as far as you look smart
A: wear on left and left handed
sister wears on her right and she is right handed
most I know wear on left what ever handed they are !!
A: I wear my wrist watch on my left.
I’m a female.
please inform me of the result..i’m interested…TY
A: I wear it on my left hand, I wear the face in while at work to stop the face being marked and on the outside when not working ( thats me not working an` not the watch lol) and I am male of course
i’m right handed, wear my watch on my left hand and im a female
i wear mine on my right wrist, i am right handed, but use my left hand more ,except for writing. i am female
As some of the other posters have said, I think it’s more based on your handedness. I’m a left handed female and I used to wear mine on my right wrist because then it doesn’t clunk on the desk when you’re writing and you can do the clasp up easily. But now I don’t wear one because as someone said, mobile phones tell the time just as well.
I am female, right handed and always wear my watch on my left wrist.
I’m a female, right handed and wear my watch on my right wrist. It just feels more comfortable.
