I purchased a new wrist watch and I would like to keep its exterior clean and shiny. Is there a special cleaning liquid or method to prevent accumulation of dirt?

One Response to “What Should I Use For Cleaning My Wrist Watch?”

  1. Venus 1485AD says:

That depends on the watch. Is it a sports model water-resistant 100 meters or more? A dealer told me to just clean my costly Omega sports watch with soap and water and a toothbrush. Dress watches are more delicate, but you need nothing special for them. Just brushing should clean off any dirt, and you don’t get much dirt on dress watches, because they’re worn with suits and ties. You should have no big problems with keeping watches clean as long as you wear dress watches for dressy occasions and sports watches for sporty occasions.
