Hmm….I would just suggest buying a new one to prevent ruining the band.

I also wear a watch 24/7. Gets a wee tinky. Just wash it in some non-bleach dish soap, and let it dry. Then give it some mineral oil. Then wipe the excess oil, and let it dry. About two days process. Wipe it and squish it out with fat dry wash cloths. Wash wrist with soap.

If it’s too old, you just can’t. You just have to buy a new leather strap.

You can use saddle soap , this will clean your wrist strap

Saddle soap or bees wax. (It would be easier to get a new band.)

Replace it with a metal watch band.
