Selling of the Bape Clothing Line is strongly prohibited. Nigo, the founder of bape, said the clothing will only be sold in japan and in NY, that is the only place you can get the authentic and most likely it will be fake. There’s a lot of things you have to look for, check if the jacket could zip all the way up, the honey bee, the ape and if you just look up how to distinguish real from fake you’ll find. But 95% of the stuff is FAKE.

Most likely fake. There are no doubt people who buy their maximum at Bathing Ape and then resell it, but Bathing Apes Japanese stores are only open on Saturday. There are young people who go every week and purchase the maximum and then resell in order to support their own Bathing Ape habit. I imagine the celebs who wear it have their “help” wait in line and buy it for them, but Bathing Ape policy is they will only sell you one of each item in your own size. I guess they have “personal shoppers” who match their size?
