All of the above, don’t make the price too too high cuz it’s the stuff has been used and usually ppl have yardsales to get rid of some of the junk they have and get a little extra cash for it.

Yard Sale Shopper!
Sell it Cheap!!!! or 2 or 3 (not more than 3) people only carry fives tens or at the most twenties.
I Love Yard Sales!
You sell everything if after a certain time of the day (everything for a dollar)
Get Rid of it!!!
I bought two 5.00 Leather Football Jackets (Notre Dame and Michigan State) last weekend at a yard sale (Like Brand New) for 5 bucks each. (Yes, you heard me right 10 buckaroos….the boys loved them and jumped up and down..Fall’s coming too…Yessss!

Books and cds sell very well if they are cheap enough. 25-50 cents for paperbacks. 1-2$ for hardcovers.

yard sales usually have to be bargain prices so make them 10 percent the price of new, so if your shoes cost 45 dollars put it at .50 per pair, if your purse is then put it for .00.
hope it helps!
Dont forget to put a price on everything with a tag, that way no one will think you are making up prices depending how they look.

When I go to a yard sale, I look mostly at flatware (cups plates etc) and books. Flatware because the company that I like is expensive band new (Pfaltzgraff) and usually I can get good deals at yard sales. Books because they aren’t worth buying new. Price all depends on the condition of the items and how badly you need the money and want them gone. If the money isn’t an issue, but getting rid of stuff is, then price things lower. It’s your stuff and you can price it however you want. Say no to anyone who offers a price that you aren’t comfortable with.

We just had one. Clothes didn’t sell well at all. If you have a lot of clothes, you might want to mention them in your ad. That could help sales.
Cookbooks (in good condition) and old DVD movies were our big sellers. People didn’t buy many decorative trinkets like candle holders and stuff. You never know what people are going to buy, so you should put it all out.
For prices, think about what you would want to pay for something in that condition if it was what you were looking for. It might help to make your prices negotiable.
