Q&A: Where can I find a good beginners guide to modifying/customizing a HTC Hermes ?
Ive done a TON of research in regards to modifying a HTC hermes, and it seems a bit complex at times (editing registry entries??) . If someone could explain how to safely flash new applications/ performance tweaks that would be awesome. I want to avoid bricking my phone if possible

Pretty much, all the research you have done is all there is to it. It may seem complicated, but to tell you the truth, if you dont feel confident about messing around with your phone, you shouldnt do it.
It would take me a really long time to sit here and type out all the steps involved in most hacks. Just follow the instructions from the forums.
