Q&A: What sneakers/casual shoes are trendy right now for young women?
Hi, I’m 20 and I’m looking for some sneakers or casual shoes that are somewhat like sneakers. I plan on wearing them a lot during the fall season. I want to a buy a few pairs. So my question is, what brand or style is hot right now for fall 2007? I know boots and other classy style are in but I’m looking for somewhat comfortable casual sneakers. I hope sneakers is the right word for my question. My definition of a sneaker in this case is a shoe that resembles workout/sports attire but can be worn outside the gym. If any girls out there have some advice, please feel free to comment. :)

asics, and shoxs are great, they’re both real comfortable and they fit the women’s foot nicely. and make sure you get some comfortable socks to fit the sneakers nicely (never wear sneakers with out socks…they’ll give you blisters).

Question: What are the new sneaker looking things that are now in style?
I’ve seen multiple people wearing them, but I don’t have a clue what they are called! They look like tennis shoes/sneakers, with the shoe laces, but the soles of the shoes are kind of thin. They have them in multiple colors, and they are really cute. They look good when wearing with flare jeans, and I want a pair for christmas, but I need to know where to get them and what they are called. I need new shoes. I prefer sneakers that look good and can be used comfortably for standing long periods of time. A super plus would be ones that are made in the U.S.A….Yes there are still companies making things here.
In fact I found one company that made shoes here,but the store did not have my size 12 1/2 or 13 depending on the company. Otherwise,since they were the same price as the Chinese made junk,I would have bought them without a second thought.
So a list of sites would be great,and if you know which are American made or at least assembled,they would be fantastic.

Question: What shoes should I get? (men’s crazy situation) boot/sneaker/nice?
I have a hard time trying to find shoes that I like. As i said in the question I am a man, so that certainly narrows down the choices. I hate how sneakers wear away very fast compared to, say, skater shoes or boots, but I like the athletic part of sneakers. I’m looking for something thats like a combined of a sneaker and a boot or tougher shoe that is also nice to wear and not (junky). I know this is a crazy situation but yeah.
