I carry my cell phone everywhere these days. I used to wear a wrist watch, but have lately been using my phone instead. I was curious how common this has become. At first, it felt weird not to have my watch on, but now, I don’t really miss it.

Questions and Answer _Q&A_ Questions Answer

A:

Definitely Wrist Watch!
I have a good watch that has all the gadgets and gizmo’s I need and is Radio Controlled, so always displays the correct time to the second!
It’s also a lot easier and quicker to look at your watch without having to get out your phone out of a usually zipped pocket!
A phone is for talking to people with, and I’ll agree that I sometimes use the camera on my phone if I don’t have another with me!
Modern technology means that a mobile will have MP3 players, radios, organisers and a lot more these days, but it’s not necessarily a good thing! It’s like ‘All the Eggs in one Basket’ type situation!
Now What Time is it?……..

A:

My phone. I always have it. Plus, I don’t like wrist watches-I find them annoying to wear.

A:
Cell phone. I think it would differ between adults teens and kids, with guys and chicas too. So it’d be hard to get the right results.

A:
I also wear a watch 24/7. Gets a wee tinky. Just wash it in some non-bleach dish soap, and let it dry. Then give it some mineral oil. Then wipe the excess oil, and let it dry. About two days process. Wipe it and squish it out with fat dry wash cloths. Wash wrist with soap.
Good to go.
Nad

A:

If it’s too old, you just can’t. You just have to buy a new leather strap.

A:

You can use saddle soap , this will clean your wrist strap

A:

Saddle soap or bees wax. (It would be easier to get a new band.)

A:

Replace it with a metal watch band.

Time to measure at what place. If only one person is there in the moon does he need time.If so what he is going to achive.one astronaut may need time to measure some events happening that may be measured using digital clocks.
The wrist watch made at earth should work well at moon. The thig is that spring loaded wrist watches may show time faster due to a less gravity.

A:

they wouldn’t be able to see their wrists in the suits so i doubt they wore any… plus… did they actually go to the moon or was it a big ploy? lol.

actually they weren’t able to take watches or any other personal items except maybe a picture or some thing.

Seiko is the watch,
try shoppng.com

I asked this a while ago after a discussion at work and am interested to see if the results this time are similar.

A: I am right handed and haven’t worn my wrist watch for years (I am not even sure if I still have it – It may have got lost when moving about 5years ago, I am not sure at all) I used to always wear it on my left, simply ‘cos that is what my Mum my Nan my Aunt and all the ladies and girls I knew did. My brother though was right handed as was Grandad and Uncle and they still wore theirs on the right hand side so I don’t think it was to do so much with whether you were right or left handed just traditional or something like that

A: Uh? I’m pretty sure whether you’re right- or left-handed has more to do with how you wear your watch than gender.
I’m female, right-handed, wear my watch on the left

A: Male.
Left worn
Left handed ~ though, due to Polio I am omni-dexterous. Additionally, it would be pointless for me to wear as watch on my right wrist.
Sorry if this skews your data, but there you go, there’s always ‘one.’
Sash

A: I wear it on my left hand, I wear the face in while at work to stop the face being marked and on the outside when not working ( thats me not working an` not the watch lol) and I am male of course

A: Left, and I don’t think it’s anything to do with gender. If you’re right handed, you wear it on your left, and if you’re left handed, you wear your watch on your right.
It’s so that you can use your dominant hand to do up the clasp or buckle of the watch, so if you wear it on your left wrist, you can use your right hand to fasten the watch.

A: i wear my wrist watch on my left hand and i am a boy of 14
it doesnt matter if you wear you watch on your right or left hand as far as you look smart

A: wear on left and left handed
sister wears on her right and she is right handed
most I know wear on left what ever handed they are !!

A: I wear my wrist watch on my left.
I’m a female.
please inform me of the result..i’m interested…TY

A: I wear it on my left hand, I wear the face in while at work to stop the face being marked and on the outside when not working ( thats me not working an` not the watch lol) and I am male of course

Or do you take it off before going to sleep? What are the pros and cons of sleeping with a watch on?

A: The downside is that after time (no pun) the inside of your watch begins to stink and sometimes it gets caught in your hair and rips a few strands out xx

A: i take mine off otherwise my hand goes to sleep and i get a chain pattern in my cheek that stays till lunchtime – nice look but not every day
~x~

A: I take my wristwatch off, usually as soon as I get home from work. The pros of sleeping with it on: you would never have the “now where did I leave my watch?” frenzy as you should be walking out the door.
The cons: It gets pushed around to an uncomfortable position while sleeping.
I don’t like the Timex logo on my cheek
But MOST importantly, it catches on the little fuzzies on my blankie!

A: no i never wear a watch
i use my mobile if i want to know the time

A: I take mine off at night for 2 reasons.
1. You sweat more at night and that only soaks into the strap, therefore deteriorating the strap sooner.
2. People sleep at the funniest angles. This can put undue strain on the crown of a watch. This not only risks breaking this part but can also damage the water-seal.

A: well I sleep with it on because it has an alarm on it that is why I sleep with it on

A: no its uncomfy, u get indentations, n wot is the point of leavin it on?????????? n wot a question, u must have a small mind!!!!!

A: this is not an answer to your question but who is the photo of on your avatar, i am sure that i reconize him or is it you? have seen it a few times today

A: I sleep with mine on. My alarm clock is set fast to scare me in the morning, so I wear my luminox to sleep

A: I use to, but it was a comfy one, i don’t now because i wear braces on both hands day and night and it makes my wrists large

A: its naturaly uncumfy to wear a watch whilst sleeping anyway unless your just having a nap , but leaving it on all night in your sleep you could hurt youself causing swelling. xx .. depending on how tight you wear it xx

A: I sleep with mine on, unless I’m planning to have sex then maybe I’ll take it off. The pros are I can see the time in the middle of the night, can’t think of any cons cos my watch (a Tag) is really comfy.

A: i used to sleep with it on before i got a clock in my room, but now i have one i dont need to.

A: ok most teens consider A&F, Holiister, AE preppy,
they are not, they are just generic brands
preppy is Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren

A: D&G, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Louis vuitton, Versace and other popular brand name watches is pretty much looking very manly, not preppy one of the kind, like Rolex, Raymond Weil, Mont Blanc, Calvin Klein, Longine, Tag Heuer, Omega, Kenneth Cole etc.

My sister is turning 21 this coming November 21, i want to give her a gift and i want the gift is wrist watch. What is the best wrist watch for her age?

A:

21-year-olds do wear watches… don’t worry about that. Popular watches that aren’t too pricey (majority are under $100) are Fossil brand watches. They have great designs, and good warranties. If you’re looking for something a little more elegant or more expensive, I would agree that Gucci, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana are good ideas. Other good brands are Tag Heuer, Swatch (they’re not just the colorful plastic watches we wore in the eighties, now they have really nice stuff!) and there’s always classics like Cartier, Rolex, and Movado. If you’re still unsure, take her watch shopping with you, or even give her a gift certificate to a store like Macy’s that has lots of different brands and styles. Anything you give her, I’m sure she’ll love!

First this is in the wrong section. The new hot craze earlier this year were K& Bros watches. I have one and get so many compliments on it. They are unisex, but they have some that are pink. They’re awesome watches.

or juicy couture.

Don’t aim super-high like the Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture stuff that other people have been recommending.
What you want is a watch that is elegant, but not too fancy. At 21, a girl still wants to go out and be able to have fun. The watch should be versatile, but not sporty. That way it goes well with whatever clothes she’ll be wearing at the time, and she also won’t have to stress too much if (God forbid) something happens to the watch. Let’s face it, watches break and get lost. Yes, that’s a terrible thing to weigh into your decision about which watch to buy, but it makes a difference!
I would recommend something from Guess or Fossil. They are generally very nice looking without being too pricey. If you can shell out the extra cash, Citizen watches are very nice too. Try to avoid Seiko watches as they are generally designed very conservatively and don’t really fit a younger-generation person. Hope this helps!

Got my girlfriend an ESQ Diamond for goin’ out, and the Wenger Standard 70230 with a leather band for everyday. I think she was about 22 when I got the ESQ. She loves them both.
